There are numerous ways in which you can help St Matthew Housing reduce homelessness in East Anglia and the East Midland. Whether you are an individual or a member of a local company or other organisation your support really does make a difference.

Volunteering Opportunities

St Matthew Housing has a committed group of volunteers who come from a range of backgrounds and undertake a myriad of duties. We are always seeking new volunteers and the following should give you some idea of the types of people required and the ways in which you can become involved.

· befriend and support residents in our supported accommodation and encourage them to fulfil their potential

· act as an advocate for residents and service users

· to assist with fundraising and help with the promotion of St Matthew housing

· we also need help at The Malthouse Project in Bury St Edmunds in our Kiln Cafe and with heritage events

All volunteers should have an interest in the work of combating homelessness and gain real satisfaction from helping others.
